Adirondack Roots is soliciting bids from qualified contractors who can conduct a federal wetland delineation for a mobile home replacement. Work will be performed in Essex and Hamilton counties (N.Y.)

Adirondack Roots, a nonprofit organization headquartered in Elizabethtown, N.Y., seeks qualified candidates to work in one or more of these counties to provide environmental services reviewed in the RFP below. Adirondack Roots reserves the right to hire one or more consultant/s based on criteria explained in the RFP. Adirondack Roots will notify all consultant/s on or before specified date.

  • The wetland report should determine the exact location(s) on onsite or nearest wetlands from the project site with appropriate maps.
  • The report should accurately characterize the wetlands (state, federal, or both) depending on site location and conditions.
  • The report should state if wetlands are on the parcel, and if so, if the area of work will occur in or directly affect the wetlands.

All responses to this RFP need to be submitted and received by August 19, 2026, at 4 p.m.  WBE/MBE and SDVOB are welcomed and encouraged to apply.  Please submit certificate with your response if your company qualifies.

The Housing Assistance Program of Essex County Inc., dba Adirondack Roots, seeks proposals from qualified consultants who can assist with after rehab value appraisals for the 2025 NYS HOME Manufactured Home Replacement Program Award administered by New York State Homes and Community Renewal. The project will be located at sites throughout Essex County.

Written proposals (one unbound paper copy and one PDF sent by email or on a thumb drive) must be received directly by Adirondack Roots, 103 Hand Avenue, P.O. Box 157, Elizabethtown, NY 12932, no later than 4 p.m. on June 22, 2026. Submit PDF proposals to rehab@adirondackroots.org. Include “2025 HOME Proposal” in the subject line. Qualifications from Minority and Women-Owned Enterprises (MBE/WBE) and HUD Section 3-designated or eligible firms are strongly encouraged.

Faxed proposals and late or incomplete submissions will not be accepted.
