AHC Rehabilitation (due 5/8)

Adirondack Roots is soliciting bids from qualified contractors for an Affordable Housing Corporation (AHC) Project located in Port Henry, N.Y. This project involves code compliance repairs and upgrades to a single-family residence, including but not limited to replacement of vinyl siding and safety improvements for a new back entry as outlined in the Scope of Work.
This project is funded in whole or in part through New York State Homes and Community Renewal (HCR) and/or the Affordable Housing Corporation (AHC) Program and must comply with all applicable federal, state and local compliance guidelines, including NYS Residential Code, HUD Lead safe Housing Rule, EPA RRP requirements, Section 3, MWBE, SDVOB, ADA, EEO, and Fair Housing requirements.
Adirondack Roots strongly encourages qualified MWBE, Section 3, and certified SDVOB contractors to bid.

This project involves demolition of a dilapidated stick built home and building a new three-bedroom ADA stick-built home as outlined in the Scope of Work.
