Adirondack Roots is soliciting bids from qualified contractors for a CDBG Residential Rehabilitation Project located in Keeseville, New York.

This project involves code compliance repairs and upgrades to a single-family residence, including but not limited to replacement of flooring; electrical work; accessibility ramp and landing; ADA bathroom; cellar stairs and Bilco door; basement sanitizing; and related health and environmental remediation as outlined in the Scope of Work.

This project is funded in whole or in part through New York State Homes and Community Renewal (HCR) and/or the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Housing Rehabilitation Program and must comply with all applicable federal, state and local compliance guidelines, including NYS Residential Code, HUD Lead Safe Housing Rule, EPA RRP requirements, Section 3, MWBE, SDVOB, ADA, EEO, and Fair Housing requirements.

Adirondack Roots strongly encourages qualified MWBE, Section 3, and certified SDVOB contractors to bid.

The project includes but is not limited to window replacement with historically matching windows; removal of deteriorated deck and stairs; new flooring; exterior door replacement that matches historically; and related health and environmental remediation as outlined in the Scope of Work.

The Housing Assistance Program of Essex County Inc., dba Adirondack Roots, seeks proposals from qualified consultants who can assist with after rehab value appraisals for the 2025 NYS HOME Manufactured Home Replacement Program Award administered by New York State Homes and Community Renewal. The project will be located at sites throughout Essex County.

Written proposals (one unbound paper copy and one PDF sent by email or on a thumb drive) must be received directly by Adirondack Roots, 103 Hand Avenue, P.O. Box 157, Elizabethtown, NY 12932, no later than 4 p.m. on June 22, 2026. Submit PDF proposals to rehab@adirondackroots.org. Include “2025 HOME Proposal” in the subject line. Qualifications from Minority and Women-Owned Enterprises (MBE/WBE) and HUD Section 3-designated or eligible firms are strongly encouraged.

Faxed proposals and late or incomplete submissions will not be accepted.
